Winter Pinks

Pink to make the boys wink, or not in my case unless they have something in their eye perhaps. I am sick to death of this winter weather already, get me to spring now; not that will change anything because I live in England so warm weather is a total myth. I thought what better way to help hurry along the blue skies I am dreaming of than adding a splash of colour to my outfits. I decided to go for pink. Despite the fact the majority of my outfit is still black I am trying to be colourful (I promise). I decided this pink gilet I picked up from Rokit whilst in Camden was the perfect way to experiment with colour whilst also preventing myself from freezing to death in this gross weather. My favourite way to add colour is on the lips and nails, I went with All Fired Up by MAC on the lips with Pink Lemonade (what an adorable shade name) by Seventeen on the nails. My outfit is extremely casual as I am just going into town with a friend.

Although its going to take more than some pink lipstick for nice weather to rapidly appear, at least I tried.

The Seven Deadly Sins Of Beauty

More of a chatty post today totally stolen from Gemma, but I love reading posts like this, so I thought I'd have a go at it,

Greed: What’s your most expensive beauty item?

 I'm not really one for splashing out so probably my MAC foundation which I think was only around £25 I'm much more of a drug store make up kind of girl, I basically live in Superdrug.

Wrath: What item do you have a love/hate relationship with? 

Bronzer, I cannot contour to save my life me and my fact round football like face need all the help we can get in the definition department, but I often find myself looking like I have attempted to go for the facial camouflage paint worn by the army, maybe its just not meant to be.

Gluttony: What brand takes up most of your collection?

 Probably Rimmel I just find the products so reliable and consistently great value for the price, I have been slightly addicted since around the age of 12 when I basically collected Rimmel lipsticks.

Sloth: What product do you neglect the most due to laziness?

Primer! I am just far too lazy I shove enough crap on my face without the extra layer!

Pride: What product gives you the most confidence? 

A bright bold lip: especially with an all black outfit I just feel mega bad ass like Beyonce. Sadly my dreams of looking like Beyonce soon come to an end as I seem to get lipstick absolutely everywhere from my teeth to my nose, attractive I think not.

Lust: Which item is top of your beauty wish list? 

I am desperate to try something by Charlotte Tilbury, I don't mind what literally if that woman made toilet roll I'd probably want it because she is just such a make up legend, all hail Charlotte Tilbury!

Envy: Which make-up product/look is great on others but not on you?

 Winged eye liner I have spent basically years trying to perfect it and it just never work- every liner I have tried just doesn't suit me in the slightest. On occasion I have ended up looking like a 13 year old going through a goth stage.

Simple Sunday And New Short Hair

On Sundays I like to keep my outfits mega simple, comfortable and relaxed. I find a black jumpsuit like this one is the easy way to dress like an absolute slob, but look still remain slightly presentable. I chose to throw on this sheepskin jacket on top that I am literally obsesssed with at the moment to prevent myself from freezing to death and paired with my trusty ankle boots I basically wear all the time and you're probably sick of seeing if you read my blog. Also I finally decided to chop half my hair off, to start off with I felt very Britney Spears 2007, but now I am used to it I am enjoying being able to dry my hair in under six months unlike before. Now brace yourself for my ever so akward cringe worthy trying not to pose posey blog pictures, enjoy:
